CPERUVIAN BOBCAT 0240

DAM: CPERUVIAN CHESSA 1320 IMPF98
ARI: 816027
Color: Medium Fawn
Bobcat is a bold fawn Peruvian male with excellent density, crimp, bone structure and confirmation. He won numerous awards in his show career and has been standing at stud for the last several years.
His crias have excellent confirmation, tremendous density and crimp. His fiber, and that of his crias, is also extremely fine and full-coverage. His multi-ribboned son, MVF Cherokee, is an outstanding rose-grey offspring that we look forward to joining the other Marlee Farm Alpacas’ herdsires in the future. His female offspring have also won ribbons for density, luster and confirmation.
Bobcat’s special attribute is his ability to add incredible density to a fleece in just one generation, while at the same time enhancing fleece character and fineness. He has a “typey” head and confirmation that is extremely heritable and repeatable.
MFV Cherokee

SIRE: CPeruvian Bobcat
DAM: Dona Amira
ARI:1251029
Color: Dark Rose Grey
Cherokee is a Rose Grey son of Bobcat and exhibits the outstanding qualities of confirmation and fleece characteristics of his father CPeruvian Bobcat and his grandfather Donatello. He exhibits exellent conformation, density and softness of handle. His mother is a full Accoyo medium silver grey female with wonderful confirmation and density.
As a yearling he won several blue ribbons in the show ring, and most recently as a 2 and one half year old (2008), placed first in his halter class at the MAPACA show (to date the largest alpaca show in the world, with over 1700 alpacas participating). The fleece characteristics on this outstanding junior herdsire are solid, but it is his density and fineness that will amaze you. One look or one touch and you will be “hooked”.
If you are breeding for rose grey and/or grey you will want the outstanding character and density that usually are associated with lighter colored alpacas, and should consider breeding your female to this magnificent rose grey male. We wouldn’t hesitate breeding him to any of our females and know that he will produce a winner. He was only bred once in 2008, and his first cria is due this summer. We are currently booking his 2009 breedings.
